If you pass through Putman-Smith Gallery, you cannot miss the brightly colored  path door of Philip Powell. This chiseling door has some exclusive designs and are painted in different colors. The shades used include red, orange and yellow. This time, mystery image has captured one small segment of the multicolored door, put in in the famous gallery at Museum. The door was one of the parts of past residence of Powell in New Hope. When I have closely watched this creative work, I have memorized some of the attractive connection door of buildings observed at the time of my journey during the recent years. The characteristics of these eye-catching doors have reminded me several carving doors and some of the popular decorative items of Spain. For instance, wood door of the museum has reminded me of the doors of Alhambra in Granada and even the doors of Alcazar belong to Seville. In inclusion, chiseling door of the museum has also provided me the memories of several attractive buildings, which I have met in different parts of India. These incorporate Jama Masjid of Delhi and historical building of Taj Mahal in the city of Agra. In addition, the artistic work of Powell door echoes same presence and feelings as I have observed in round top door of French Gothic cathedrals. One of the famous doors in Cathedral has painted by famous French Impressionist named Claude Monet. Hence, journey of well-known artist named Powell to different countries, like Morocco, India, Sicily, England, Portugal and Spain and many more have become huge inspiration for his performeric and creative work. During his journey to different nations, he has taken some of the ornamental elements of different lifetypes and cultures and Lastly infused them towards creation of particular fashion on his own. Powell commented, "Travel to different nations has resulted in drastic influence in my performeric work."
