According to psychologists the color green symbolizes nature, renewal, rebirth. In ancient times it was represented a time of hope when the earth awoke after cold, barren winter. Today it is recognized as the color of the environment and the ecological movement to protect the earth. Psychologists also tell us green represents balance and harmony, having a calming affect on the mind and body. Green also represents prosperity and wealth as well as luck in many cultures.
