Is there a screen??

Yes, this door can either have a sliding screen or a vanishing screen. Please click on customize and after selecting the size you will have the option to add a screen. These are just what we want for our new house. But I read reviews elsewhere that say that "latch system is difficult to lock and even if one is latched and the other is not the doors can swing open." Has this been resolved? Where can I find other reviews of this set of doors before I order 2 sets? Thank you!

These are gliding door so it would not be possible for this to swing open. Fortunately, we have not heard of any issue regarding the locking system on this.

For the 117" wide door, how many inches when both doors are fully open? 60?

The egress dimension for the 117-1/4" in net frame unit would be 44-7/8".

What is the rough opening for these doors

Net frame width for this door can either be 117-1/4" or 141-1/8", for the rough opening we usually recommend to add 1" to the net frame width. The net frame height for this door can be either 79-1/2" or 82-3/8" , on the height we usually recommend to add 1/2" to get the rough opening.

Door size option refers to the door slab nominal size. For unit size or rough opening refer to the size guide or contact a sales representative.

Prehung doors will ship knocked down to avoid damages and to ease the handling. These doors have been machined and the prep work finished, but none of the individual parts have been applied. A knocked down door can be put together into an assembled door in about 10 minutes.

The image only represent one size and the door components proportion may change on smaller or larger size.

Lockset, accessories and Prefinishing shown on the door photos are not included. They may be available at an additional charge.

Primed doors are not a fully finished products and cosmetic imperfections are to be expected. These doors are to be sanded and repaired prior to painting.

Due to monitor settings, monitor pixel definitions, limitations of desktop scanners, digital photography, and dye lot variations, we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your screen as an exact color of the product. The default for us is to logo the glass. Unless Specified, the logo location will be placed at US Door & More Inc discretion. Undesired logo location will not warrant a remake. In the event the tempering logo is missed, US Door will provide the glass factory documentation that proves the glass is tempered.
